Emilys Makeup tutorial

How to achieve my classic look

1. Always clean face first, most important part about makeup is having a clean face to work with just like an artists canvas.

2. I start with the eyes first, I shape my eyes with the dark shadow, then work my way inwards with lighter shadows. I have to add glitter, so fabulous!

3. Once eye shadow is sorted its foundation and contour time. You don't necessarily have to contour the same way I do, there are different styles of contour depending on your face shape.

4. Blending brushes/sponge are the best for allowing the colours to blend around your cheeks. Blush comes after contour, and again depending on skin tones you could add bronzer to the darker contour lines and highlighter to the lighter lines.

5. Eyebrows- pray they match! I use NYX brow gel, which is perfect for keeping the brows neat, doesn't allow any stray hairs to pop up, and the best thing about it, is that it stays on all day.

6. Eyeliner and mascara is next for me, best way to do eyeliner is to have the side lines follow from the bottom of your eye upwards towards the end of your brow.

7. When it comes to lipstick I love darker colours with lighter eye shadows, as it add a pop to the colours on your face, if you fancy a smoky look, id go for lighter lipsticks so the colours aren't too contrasting!
